Who is eligible for Shaw Friends?
Shaw customers that subscribe to two or more residential services (Personal Home Phone, TV or Internet) are eligible to participate in Shaw Friends.
What happens if I modify my services and subscribe to only one service?
You would become ineligible for the Shaw Friends program and receive an email notification that your Shaw Friends benefits and rewards will be removed.
Is there a cost to join?
There is no cost to participate in Shaw Friends for customers who subscribe to two or more Shaw services. Shaw Friends is our way of thanking our loyal customers for their continued support.

Membership Eligibility

A new or existing Shaw customer is eligible to become a member of the Shaw Friends program as long as he/she is subscribed to two residential services ("Double Play Customers") or all residential services – Internet, TV, Home Phone ("Triple Play Customers") (with the exclusion of Shaw Access Package subscribers) – and his/her account is in good standing.

Membership Enrollment

Membership is absolutely free. To participate in the Shaw Friends Program, a customer must sign up through Shaw's Online Customer Centre. To enroll, the customer must be the actual Shaw account holder and must provide Shaw with a valid email address to receive program notifications and ongoing rewards.

Memberships are available to customers who maintain an account in good standing. If at any time after enrolment the account is not in good standing, Shaw reserves the right to cancel the membership. If the customer would like to cancel their membership to the program they must withdraw via Shaw's Online Customer Centre.

1 complimentary Shaw On Demand movie rental
One (1) complimentary Shaw On Demand movie credit will be credited to each new Shaw Friends member's account and applied to his/her first On Demand order. From the time a customer enrolls in Shaw Friends he/she has 365 days to use his/her 1 On Demand movie credit. The credit applies to all titles, including new release HD titles.
Concierge Service
Concierge Service includes priority Concierge Chat and one annual in home visit with a Shaw Friends representative every calendar year in most areas*. Access Concierge Chat through Shaw's Online Customer Centre. The annual in home visit must be booked in advance via a Concierge Chat representative.
Free Distinctive Ring for Shaw Home Phone
Shaw Friends members are eligible for one (1) free distinctive ring for each Shaw Home Phone line subscribed to. This feature must be activated through Shaw Friends Concierge chat, accessible via the Online Customer Centre. If the customer already subscribes to this feature a credit will be applied to the account the month following initial sign up. If the customer subscribes to Home Phone Full he/she will receive a second distinctive ring for free.
15% off discount on NFL Sunday Ticket^™ and/or NHL^® Centre Ice^™
If the customer subscribes to either NFL Sunday Ticket™ or NHL® Centre Ice™ after joining Shaw Friends they are entitled to a 15% discount. To redeem this 15% discount and subscribe to either package, a request must be submitted through Concierge Chat. Not available in Hamilton, ON.
Shaw Primetime HD On Demand
Shaw Friends members are entitled to the suite of primetime shows in HD available on Shaw On Demand. This reward is only available to customers with MPEG 4 HD compatible hardware (Motorola DCX 3200, Motorola DCX 3400, Shaw Gateway, Pace Aspen, Pace Summit). Not available in all areas **.

Double Play customers are entitled to an additional 25 GB of data per month with their existing Internet package, regardless of level of service†.	Triple Play customers are entitled to an additional 50 GB of data per month with their existing Internet package, regardless of level of service†.
Ongoing benefits
Shaw Friends will be eligible for ongoing additional benefits, rewards, such as draws for tickets to exclusive premieres and events and discounts. Notifications will be sent to the current Shaw Friends email address (provided upon signup) and details of the rewards and method of redemption will be provided at that time.

The information provided as a member of Shaw Friends will be handled according to Shaw's Privacy Policy, available at Shaw.ca. Enrolment information, information about member transactions and redemptions, and any other information members provide from time to time will be used to administer the membership, communicate with about the membership, and to better understand member preferences and eligibility for Shaw's products and services. On occasion Shaw may also use this information to provide you with personalized marketing, notification of sales, special events and other exclusive Shaw Friends offers.
