Dianne Townsend

Producer, Community Access - Peace

Born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Dianne moved to Fort St John in August 1978. She has been in the TV Production Industry for the past 20 years, and is now the Senior Producer for Shaw TV in Fort St John.

Dianne has been married for 30 years +, has two daughters, both married and she is now a proud Grandma. In her spare time she enjoys camping, canoeing and spending time with her family & friends. 

Kevin Neil

Producer, Community Access - Prince George

Living in Prince George since the age of seven, Kevin has always had a special connection with his hometown. After a few years in the Lower Mainland, studying both audio and video production at the Art Institute of Vancouver, Kevin returned home to P.G. and soon began working for Shaw TV. Working part time for Shaw TV, as well as at a local news station, Kevin learned all facets of television production.  In March 2010, Kevin came on fulltime, and now enjoys covering music, sports, lifestyles, and just about everything else!

Anand Chandy

Producer, Community Access - Quesnel

Growing up in the south of India, Anand never dreamed he'd leave the backwaters and the beaches for a home in the hills around Northern BC. Inspired by his father's passion for travel and his grandfather's passion for storytelling, he'll go just about anywhere for a good story. Anand moved to Canada in 2011 to study Journalism New Media at Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning in Ontario, and has since honed his video storytelling skills at a non-for-profit organization in Toronto and a television station in Chetwynd, BC. He's excited to be a part of the Shaw team in Quesnel and cannot wait to find out what makes  this beautiful community tick.

Vaughn Palmer

Host - Voice of B.C.

Vaughn Palmer has been the Vancouver Sun columnist on BC politics, based in Victoria, since 1984.


As well as hosting Voice of B.C. on Shaw TV, he  is also a regular commmentator on provincial politics on radio station CKNW in Vancouver and on Canadian news on radio station KUOW in Seattle.
