B.C. Customers: HST charge on April invoice

Please be advised that we have experienced a billing error that occurred as we transitioned from HST to PST and GST. This will impact some of our BC customers who will have received an invoice in April that charges HST instead of the recently reinstated PST and GST. There are also some customers who will see "HST" labeled on their bill but the correct amount of tax was charged. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and have taken immediate action to resolve this.

We assure any impacted customers that corrections are being made to your account and you will see a credit applied to your next invoice that reflects the correct amount of PST and GST. If you have any questions, please contact us at shaw.ca/chat or 310-SHAW.

Firmware Update for Docsis 3 Wireless Modem

Effective March 26, 2013, customers in select areas within Vancouver and the Okanagan can look forward to a superior in-home WiFi experience when we perform a firmware upgrade on our DOCSIS 3 (DPC3825) devices. During this time, you may briefly lose Internet connectivity while your modem is being reset.

North American long distance rate changes

Effective March 12, 2013, the North American long distance rate will be $0.05/min.

Effective March 12, 2013, some of Shaw's international long distance rates will increase by $0.01 to $0.02/min. These include calling destinations in Western Africa and Central and South America.
